Don't wash your jeans??

I am a country girl, as you can tell by my about page.  It's something I'm proud of, I ride horses, play in the mud, hike, and usually end up dirty, so when I saw on the news how you're not to wash your jeans for 12 months, or try to very rarely, my mind went straight to the barn and how bad of an idea that would be for me.  Unless I know I'm going to get just as dirty the next day (and my pants aren't covered in mud) I could reuse the same jeans maybe twice.

I can't speak for all country people, cowgirls, cowboys, and rednecks, but I'm sure this is how their jeans look after a day of fun too.

A Day at Cranberry Creek Farm

The big family trip for us in June was taking my daughter, and Great Grandma out to Paradise to a small town, called Cranberry all just to visit some cousins and take my country girl to the goat farm!

My daughter petting one goat while the white one is trying to eat her skirt.  The photo to the right is her all upset over the white goat eating her skirt!

There were goats all over!  It was a blast sitting out with them watching them eat, play and they were all so very friendly.

One of the people at Cranberry Creek Farm  took time out of her day to show my girl how to pet the goats, play on the bridge with her and show her where they milk the goats and told her all about the process!  It was an awesome, fun, and educational trip.  Thank you for showing us the farm!

I've never seen so many goats at once!  There were over 30!  and they were so clever!  Climbing on each other to get to the leaves to eat.  The white one below, you can't see it but she's standing on a tub in that high grass with her hind legs and stretched out to the tree to get up higher and eat those leaves.

The goats loved my little girl, always walking up to her...
and getting Kisses
Someone's grumpy that I said it was time to go....LOL.

Don't forget while you're visiting the goats to stop by their store for fresh produce!

Be sure to check out Cranberry Creeks blog for more about them and what they are up to!
